Excited to share with What’s Right readers the most recent honor to the University of West Georgia, named yesterday as the University System of Georgia’s “Institution of the Year.”
Dr. Kyle Marrero, President of UWG, recently shared the honor with his colleagues, noting,
This award is a tribute to YOUR great work and YOUR efforts everyday to make UWG the best place to work, learn, and succeed! Amazing things DO happen when you Go West! Congratulations to all!
The Chancellor’s Service Excellence Awards were created to honor employees that have gone “above and beyond” their normal job responsibilities. UWG was nominated for the Chancellor’s Outstanding Service Excellence Award based on their ability to adopt continuous-improvement methodology that emphasizes student and/or employee satisfaction as well as quality of service. In the University System of Georgia’s words, “the efforts of [the University of West Georgia] stand as a genuine example of Service Excellence – consistently exceeding the expectations of [its] constituents.”
Join us in congratulating the leadership, faculty, staff, and students at the University of West Georgia for their commitment to excellence. They truly are champions in creating a great place to work, learn, and succeed. Go West!
