About Tina
Tina served as a special education teacher and leader in the School District of Menomonee Falls for 27 years. During that time the school improved to the highest performing school in the district for student achievement and engagement. She led a highly collaborative culture where everyone in the organization was problem solvers. Teams with members from all levels of the school defined problems, removed roadblocks, and improved outcomes. Their improvement mindset was aligned throughout the entire district from the board to the school to the classroom and to each individual student. Students spoke about their learning journeys and strategies that helped them succeed. In addition to her K-12 experience, Tina was a college professor for four years instructing students who were inspired to become special education teachers about assessment.Successful school results under Tina’s leadership:
