About Pam
Along with serving as a higher education leader coach and innovation leader, Pam also serves as a senior advisor to the Louisiana Board of Regents in Academic Affairs and Innovation. She has consulted with other state-level higher education boards and higher education institutions in developing strategy, alternative forms of revenue, economic mobility, and supporting career-ready learning, and has led several new strategic initiatives.
Prior to her current roles, Pam served a 25-year tenure at the University of West Florida where she served as vice president of research and strategic innovation, senior associate provost of academic innovation, director of distance and continuing education, and CEO of the UWF Innovation Institute. Northrup was a full professor of instructional technology and in 2010-2013, served as dean of the College of Professional Studies. Northrup was awarded the ACHE Distinguished Credit Program for Mobile Distance Learning for Military Education Sloan-C award for her work with Studio e, a professional development program teaching online learning to faculty. She has produced over 100 articles, books, book chapters, presentations, and educational products, was awarded over $7M of contracts and grants, and oversaw $45M of annual state-level awards for higher education, economic diversification and support.
