Dr. Owen coaches organizations to be better every day using the Evidence-based Leadership® Framework and the Studer Education Nine Principles® Framework for Organizational Excellence. She partners alongside leaders and coaches them to set the right goals, align the goals with measure that matter, focus on the key elements of employee engagement and service excellence to build the right culture, and utilize tools and tactics of organizational excellence and improvement to build capacity to lead teams to success.
About KK
Prior to joining Huron Studer Education, she served as the Director of Professional Learning for the Escambia County School District (FL). While in this role Dr. Owen served as project leader for reforming teacher, school leader, and district leader evaluations under the Race To the Top system and supervised principal and teacher leader training for federal, state, and district initiatives; worked with the Florida Association of District School Superintendents and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in the improvement of teacher and principal quality; and worked on union collaboration projects with the Teachers Union Reform Network and the National Education Association.
