Kevin’s 39 years in education has been built around the belief that we must treat every child as our own. This belief requires that we develop strong leaders, effective teachers and coherent systems around them in order to positively impact our students.
About Kevin
Before joining Studer Education, Kevin was the Deputy Superintendent for the El Dorado County Office of Education in El Dorado County, CA. He was responsible for the oversight of all education programs from birth to adults, including court and community schools. In this role he also was a Studer Education partner for five years.
Before this role, Kevin served as a preschool teacher, an elementary bilingual teacher, a middle school math teacher, a curriculum specialist, a Director of Federal and State programs, an Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Special Education, and served two districts concurrently, one as the Superintendent and the other as the Principal/Superintendent. He served as the co-chair for the California State Regional Assessment Network.
