About Bill
Before joining Huron, Bill was the associate superintendent of Meade County Schools in Brandenburg, Kentucky. His primary responsibility was the oversight of all district human resources. While in that role, Bill was also the chief manager of district facilities improvements and construction projects. During this time, Bill also served as the interim superintendent of schools, a role he began In March 2020, which coincided with the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bill successfully led the district and community through the early stages of the pandemic.
Before this role, Bill served as the principal of the Meade County High School (MCHS), a large, comprehensive high school with over 1,600 students in grades nine through 12. He served for one year as the associate principal in charge of curriculum, Instruction, and assessment at MCHS prior to being named the head principal in 2002. Before that, he taught science and social studies and coached a variety of sports in Meade County, Kentucky, and Rowan County, North Carolina.
