The Pensacola Blue Wahoos were at West Navarre Intermediate School in the Santa Rosa County School District (FL). Above is Kazoo with the book, Casey At The Bat, to kick of the Grand Slam Reading Program. Designed to motivate students to read, the students are challenged to read 4 books in 4 weeks to earn prizes and an opportunity to go to a Blue Wahoos home game in the upcoming season. Enjoy these pictures courtesy of Michael Spooneybarger, the Blue Wahoos, and Pensacola Today (cite here):
You can find out more about the “Wahoos Whereabouts” in the community on the team’s website (here), which includes a Reading Program Assembly at Byrneville Elementary School in Century, FL, today and the 2015 Health and Business Expo in Navarre, FL, tomorrow.
