LAKE COUNTRY NOW REPORTS – “The Pewaukee School District has found itself on the Wisconsin Department of Instruction’s Advanced Placement Honor Roll for public schools.”
In education, everything we do boils down to student achievement. At the end of the day, district success is defined by student success. Every employee has a hand in student success: from the bus driver that gets students to school on time, to the cafeteria personnel who feeds the students so that they can feed their mind, to the teacher who is constantly learning so that he can pass on the knowledge to his students.
According to Lake County Now, “the school district is one of 22 school districts statewide on the honor roll. The AP program offers 38 courses that end with a voluntary end-of-year exam. Students who earn a score of 3 or higher on a 5-point scale on the exam may receive college credit, advanced standing or both from most colleges and universities. The honor roll recognizes districts that increase access to AP courses along with increasing the percentage of students who earn a score of 3 or higher on the AP exams.”
This is hard work on everyone’s part. Way to go, Pewaukee School District!
