U.S. NEWS REPORTS
The 2017 U.S. News and World Report Annual Best High School rankings celebrated Barrington High School (RI) according to the following criteria: state assessment performance, graduation rates, disadvantaged student performance, and how well students are prepared for college.
2nd in Rhode Island:
Barrington ranked 2nd in Best High Schools in the state of Rhode Island. Opportunities for students to take Advanced Placement® classes played a key role in this ranking. The participation rate in these AP® classes was 64%.
110th in STEM:
Barrington is the only Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)- recognized school in the state of Rhode Island and ranks 110th out of the top 500 STEM schools in the country. Students’ participation and success in Advanced Placement® science and math tests were factors in this ranking.
